What counts as a normal or mundane human in something like capeshit or My Capeshit Academia is not the same as a normal person. This applies to pretty much any media with normal people alongside those with superpower. Stain's quirk has nothing to do with physical strength but he can cleave through a thick sheet of ice using a katana. That's a "normal" person with training and determination in that kind of setting. This makes any dumbass statement of "but in real life they couldn't dodge bullets" fucking asinine. They're "normal" in the context of the comic, not real life. It's a comic book.

Characters surviving when, even by the standards of the story, they should have died is plot contrivance and armor. Die Hard (the original) has more plot armor than something like Boku no Pico Academia because it hews closer to reality but still needs McClane to survive.
