Sad fucking life, it ain't even that hard for a good plot. Have Ataru die or some shit trying to save Lum or something. Lum is devastated, Ataru's feelings for Lum finally get full fledged and realizes he loves her more than anything. Alternate between Ataru and Lum to show that they are the "anime couple" that puts others to shame. Have Ataru face god in a card matches and trivia games, beat god and gets sent back to Lum's arms, all happy and have him finally ask the big question to Lum who gets a surprised look like ataru(pic related) and cut to credits with a montage of their future adventures, with maybe the first Ed playing for nostalgia
