as far as i know nightow stopped the original manga in the place s2 ended (leo going against the mosquito looking mech doctor and klaus punching him out). so then he made this "sequel" manga called back to back that was all over the place. it's hard to even get copies of the shit.
so "can we get s3" depends on if we even have enough material. but we got those ova eps recently that were gold so such is life.

Definitively, Season 2 is a bit more episodic, but those are some really comfy and emotional stories. It carries the same atmosphere/vibe and has god tier OST and visuals. A better time than any anime I have seen this year.
