It won't have a happy ending, will it?
It won't have a happy ending, will it?
It will. Just not for her.
Not for all.
If it doesn't, I'll blame you banshee fuckers and hunt you down
Some of her friends will die and she will have to accept it.
>Some
Hey, they're not dead anymore.
But Farlyn will be beyond saving.
It's called foreshadowing.
Though I think Laios is the one who'll bite it.
it's gonna have a magnum happy ending where everyone lives and is better off
Reminder that this is extra painful for Marcille because it's not just the situation of "all my friends died in the last battle and are corpses and this is horrible", but it also plays into her nightmares about outliving all the people she cares about. Right here, this moment, is her worst fear. To still be alive, alone, while everyone else is dead.
I'm pretty sure they'll get her back, just with some dragon remnants mixed in
I vote for this user
who says that's bad
As long as she is mostly human and not dangerously furry
>new chapter in 15 days
Oh I can't wait
user, I...
Shuro would still hit that dragon pussy
user...
You might be right.
I hate to bring up shipping, but I feel like all the ship bait in the last dozen of chapters is deliberate and fuel for Marcille's desperation to not outlive her companions, especially if her father really was a human too.
Keep the band-aid on a little longer
>I hate to bring up shipping, but I feel like all the ship bait in the last dozen of chapters is deliberate and fuel for Marcille's desperation to not outlive her companions
Chilchack's gonna freak
What, you don't want a Meshi chapter?
It's coming in two weeks anyway
>It's coming in two weeks anyway
Oh man, do I not want to crush that youthful optimism.
>Chilchack doubles down on screeching about how romance between party members ruins everything
>Next chapter has Laius reminiscing about how he met Marcille
It just really feels like foreshadowing for how this is going to be a disaster.
You've got so much delicious desire, user
It'd be a shame if it was devoured
Remind me, was this before or after they got succubus'd?
Just spit it, did Kui get caught groping some underage ass or what?
liaus just needs to fuck her good and their children will outlive him and stay with her, problem sovled.
Before, during the thingy with the horse.
Mandatory annual break. Add 30 days to your chapter countdown.
It's
>They find bicorn, Chilchack grumbles about love
>Dullahan attacks Laius who gives him the bicorn, Laius thinks about Marcille while almost dying
>They decide to eat bicorn brain and are immediately attacked by succubi
Well fuck, at least it's just one month. Still, the wait will be pure hell.
user, she will outlive their children too.
Also
>marcille succubus
only by like 50% though
you only need two sets of half-marcille kids to die with, not like dozens of human generations. Just get some more human baby batter in a few centuries
Yeah I know, it basically goes from Chilchack ranting about romance immediately to suggesting Laius has a crush on her. Some 20 chapters ago I would say that shippers were reading too much into it, but now it really feels like deliberate bait for plot purposes.
>problem sovled.
No, not really. Marcille is still not over her father, her pet bird, and Farlyn all dying, as shown in her nightmare. Even if she gets knocked up and has half-elf kids with Laius, she'll still deeply mourn his passing for decades, if not centuries. That's why the Winged Lion is trying to tempt her with his power, preying on her desire to make all the races have the same lifespans instead of some drastically outliving all the others.
Like, look at just halflings and elves. Halflings live to be about 50, elves about 500. Chilchack is 28, he's already middle-aged. In two more decades he'll likely have passed away, barely a tenth of an elf's natural lifespan. And yet Chilchack and Marcille are friends and she doesn't want to see him dead.
That you will die around the same time as your grandchildren doesn't mean that it will suck less to outlive your husband and children. That is still Marcille's worst nightmare here.
Wasn't that part extremely ambiguous though because only Laius saw the Marcille succubus and it turned out to be the Winged Lion trying to communicate to Laius in a dream, meaning he was already knocked out? I don't think we ever actually saw his real succubus.
Marcille succubus was his real succubus. It knocked him out when it kissed him, and the Lion took advantage to contact him.
But we didn't see the Marcille succubus return to the larva fountain to deposit the extracted life essence later, just Chilchack's and Marcille's succubi. If Laius was defeated by his succubus and had his life force extracted, she should've shown up too.
>t. speedreader
and by happy ending you mean happy meal.
I wouldn't say extremely ambiguous. The mangaka can backtrack on it later, but it's clearly stated that the succubi can read your desires even you are unaware of. Izutsumi's succubus being her mother she doesn't even know she remembers proves that.
And I know Izutsumi had a non-romantic succubus, but Laius' succubus immediately tried to kiss him. Pretty sure Laius' dream girl is a Marcille as a monster.
We didn't see Senshi's succubus either.
