I'm rooting for Chizuru in the story, but I don't hate Ruka. She's immature and sometimes inappropriate, but she means well.

Haha, give it a few years. Kazuya is a cringelord now, but he has a family that loves and supports him, and practical project management experience thanks to Chizuru's movie. Chizuru is getting by mostly on her looks and a series of fake personalities (nerdy shut-in & sweet idol gf) that she's crafted for herself. Although she's a talented actress, she has no solid industry connections and isn't really cultivating them, and if she did, she runs the risk of being used up and tossed aside by the fierce competition.

Maybe, but he really loves Chizuru and his sense of loyalty is strong. What happens if Ruka had managed to get to him by attacking that sense of loyalty? Kazuya would be disgusted with himself and wouldn't be able to be happy no matter what Ruka does with him after that. It's good that she decided to play the long game instead of trying to find shortcuts into his heart.
