Unf, that sounds pretty good. While I haven’t gotten far enough in to see them yet, I understand that Ryuu was arranged to marry a trap that is essentially her with the genders reversed? Would they work as a couple in this setting?

Also while we’re at it, did we ever decide on what Mendo jr.’s personality would be like? Obviously he wouldn’t have his father’s or mother’s phobias. I think a Mendo would try to raise him as his own father raised him, which may obviously cause a similar personality to develop, but would Asuka’s involvement change things?

Well her involvement puts a lot of weight on the kids back, because he would be representing the two most powerful families in Japan. I would make Asuka herself be mostly over her fear of men, but maybe make her still be afraid of Ataru
Mendou jr. probably thinks he knows better than his dad, disobeying him because he thinks his father's advice shag that oni girl you little bastard! would bring shame apon both families.

I think you could have Mendo jr. treat Kokeru like a rival for Shinobu jr.’s affection, but Kokeru’s too shy to really get into it. Plus if we’re making Mendo jr. the same age as Kikka, Kokeru should have a couple years on him, which would make him even more reluctant to take the kid seriously.
You know what though, could we consider the possibility of making Kokeru and Kikka fraternal twins? Having to figure out which child characters go in which age group might overcomplicate things.

Well I’d say they all had kids at like 25. That way everyone’s in their early 40s when their kids are 17. Prime midlife crisis age and perfect for boomer Ataru.
Lum already wanted to have kids during the series and it only intensified during and after Ataru’s college years, while he was still reluctant to become a father. Ultimately, Kokeru ended up being conceived when Lum burned all the condoms in the Moroboshi household and jumped Ataru one day. He was the earliest pregnancy, and the rest of the gang decided to join the trend in the following months.

She's adorable but sexy, she's a loving wife, she's both submissive and dominant. Her design is unique, you'll never accidentally mix her up as someone else like you could with many Japanese characters.
She's upfront about her feelings, lacks subtlety which is a nice and refreshing trait in a woman. You know exactly where you stand with her, no guessing games or shit tests.
