During Oda’s new interview with Japanese vocal group called Arashi will be aired on TV show on 27th, August.
Oda said he would like to finish OP in 4-5 years (again).
One Piece is ending in 4-5 years
Not if Shueisha have anything to say about it
Keyword: he would like.
It would be possible only if oda didn't get like a break every 2 weeks
4-5 years is just the life expectancy of the current Oda. In a couple years, before the super aging starts affecting the current clone he will be replaced with a new, more compliant clone.
Wano will take at least the rest of the year to finish. Elbaf will take another 2 years. Roadstar/Raftel may be short arcs, let's say 1.5 years to cover both of them. Then there's the final arc where Luffy and his allies take down the WG which will be another 2 years.
So it's possible but unless the ending is a hatchet job the story won't be done until 2026 at least.
How will he make up for a decade of neglecting the entire straw hat crew before endgame? They're nowhere near shichibukai crew tier, let alone yonko crew level
that fat fuck will be too big for anything but a wheelchair in 5 years and he'll be paneling One Piece with his tiny dick
Like 130 chapters from now at his current release rate?
Doubt it.
Good riddance.
He has been saying 5 years for the last 5 years.
>there's a real chance that edens zero, which is blatantly and unapologetically one piece in space, will end before one piece itself does
>EZ began serialisation over twenty years after one piece started
Why is Oda's pacing so fucking bad?
when will this Wano shit be over? Manga became almost unreadable level in Wano
>one piece in space,
You wish, it’s Fairy Tail in space
Nami/Franky/Robin are fine. Ussop has his plot haki. Brook could use some work in the raw swordplay area but otherwise he's a solid bard. Only Chopper is abysmal.
I can guarantee you that One Piece will end in 7 years at best, there's absolutely no way they are letting the 30th anniversary go to waste. Also, the release schedule is simply too sparse as of late to end in 5 years.
there's not gonna be an Elbaf, after Wano we enter in the Marineford 2.0 ending
does he really look like that?
It's been hitting all the same story beats though. The 100th chapter even had the 'let's all reconfirm our goals before leaving the tutorial area' moment that OP had.
Dropped it after Dressrosa because the paneling looked confusing. Has it gotten better?
It's definitely got FT style fanservice and humour (plus a literal Erza clone because he's a hack who couldn't resist) but the main plot is about a crew on a ship going to a central goal while stopping on planets on the way, and the setting also has a central government and major military + other antagonistic organisations (plus space CIA), all of which also happens to be in One Piece
Not to mention a Shanks/Blackbeard "inspired" moment a few chapters ago where the main villain chose to avoid picking a fight with one of the strongest crews in the setting
He was 29 btw
Doesn't matter, the art looks like ass compared to OP's
user, Oda is a very talented guy but his artstyle and panelling leave a lot to be desired
Honestly he should've ended it by now, he's rich as fuck and wasting his life drawing a comic when he can do whatever he wants.
Nice edited page
confirmed for a rushed mess then
for some reference, this shitty arc that barely covered anything it needed to started exactly 5 years ago
>it has a group of people travelling together
>so that makes it One Piece
Kek
why did he waste so much time after the time skip, instead of showing other islands like he did before?
he wants to draw comics.
even if he abruptly got fired he'd probably keep making comics for fun until his hands give out
And this guy thinks it’s like One Piece because characters have goals imagine having such shallow reading of something
What Oda has loads of is imagination. His ideas for character design tend to be great, even if the execution leaves a lot to be desired.
But art design was always a weakness of his, as One Piece was notorious for having ugly artwork even in the East Blue days. Now, he also has paneling problems due to laziness, making OP's art below average even with the imagination.
Reminder that Oda will die the day after One Piece's final chapter releases
He's a physical wreck
the real problem is that he deprotagonised the Strawhats. It feel like in every place the manga goes the protagonists change to be strawhats + new arc characters. So now every fucking godamn arc has to tell their story too and this adds a good 30-40 useless chapters to the manga. Fuck Totantas or whatever they are called fuck samurais fuck furryshits
