SHAFT demonstrated a uniquely autistic attention to realism and detail when doing the Monogatari series, specifically, when drawing Hitagi Senjougahara.
Hitagi is tall and skinny. Long and angular. SHAFT consistently draws her feet to reflect this, and doesn't draw other characters' feet like this. This level of attention to detail is very unique for anime.
Hitagi's feet are consistently drawn as Greek feet, meaning the second toe is longer than the first. This is a trait associated with long "fingertoes" as is being long and skinny in general, as is Hitagi. It seems appropriate for her bodytype. She is consistently drawn with long toes as well.
