berserk arcs afer golden age are literally shonenshit tier, bordering on harem shit with every girl falling in love with guts, i've read all of the available chapters, and it's completely in a lower ball park from an actually mature narrative like hxh. guts even gathered a crew ala one piece, including a loli witch and they go on some filler tier island adventure. seriously the seagod/pirate arc in nu-berserk would fit as anime filler in wan piss.

The medium is rife with shit and drivel. Okay let's avoid popularity. So now we are left with critical acclaim. Generally berserk is well liked for it's characters, and narrative.

Also just because you don't understand archtypes, and fundumental narrative structure doesn't mean I need to waste time teaching you. Complexity is not quality. Berserk is at it's core simply and in fact acessible.

Do people only enjoy (Manga I don't like) because it makes them feel mature? The story is extremely shallow and the characters certainly aren't something to write home about. The only thing it had going for it was the (begrudged complement), but now even that has gone to shit since (undermine complement here) . This manga seems like something people pretend to like just to fit in, since it isn't good at all, and (main character) is a terrible excuse of a character, only popular among people who think they are outcasts in society and feel like (main character) is "literally me".
