Indeed. The stuff early on with Komachi was heartwarming, but ever since it has been this completely nonsensical drama which seems to be created out of nothing to drag out the series.

S1 was great. S2 was a bit draggy.

It's basically the rape of the first 2 seasons.

The climax in the title refers to that cringy moment when Yukino dances in a suit in the op. That was peak shit.

Season 1 was good.
Season 2 was a drag, characters going on and on and on and on about vague feelings and shit you don't care about.
Season 3 is more of the same, like season 2.

this show takes itself too seriously

This whole thing is just a decent first few volumes with new, different ideas for a love comedy that just turns into a very generic romance story filled with petty drama for more than half of the later volumes.

The worst part is how much time is wasted on side characters like Yui and Kawasaki.

Thats part of the point. When you're young like them, everything feels so serious and so important.

I'm glad it's not just me. S1 was good, S2 was okay but not has good. I'd been looking forward to it, but S3 I dropped a few episodes in. Super draggy, most of what's going on is just pure depressing drama all around, etc.

At least there is a "happy" end.

S2 started off okay because it rode off the plot of season 1 (this anime didn't know where to properly end its seasons so they all finish rather inconclusively)

dropped it after the 1st episode in s3, do not care at all for this forced muh feelings, and but it's gotta be genuine, shit when I have a hard enough time as it is figuring out why any of the girls would actually have any romantic feelings for 8man to begin with, only reason I can think of is for edgy self inserters

there's no fan service, that's unironically the problem. s1 and s2 had dates with girls in cute outfits, zr shots from yukino, yui's yuis, iroha's date etc. this season has nothing but charred melodrama with Hachiman as the lead, it's boring as hell.

Yukino has had her time removed. Compare Yukino's interlude vs Yui/Iroha interlude. Yukino only says one line after closing Service Club door. There is an anti-Yukino bias on the anime studio.
