Kaguya-sama sucks balls. Much prefer Toradora.

this series is popular as hell but i'll never be able to watch it

main girl looks like she's 8, yikes.

>kaguya
>king of romcoms
>toradora
>good
kill yourself x2.

You get over how she looks pretty quickly as she never acts like n 8 year old and the show never presents her as anything but her actual age.

she's still annoying garbage and immature brat.

She develops throughout the show, but if it's not to your taste, that's fine.

her tsundereism is the most annoying aspect about her and she never gets better from that part. also she's abusive as fuck.

Wow a teenager is immature, what terrible writing.

>also she's abusive as fuck.
I don't remember anything that was so glaringly bad. It's an anime, after all. Not meant to be taken completely literally.

Re watched this after 10 years. My perspective on this show has changed. They're all little shit and the bird is fucking based

well i mean yea, i know. but still, her being like that all the time to ryuuji annoyed me so much.

I really enjoyed it the first time watching when it aired.
Rewatched a bit later and thought it was ok.
Rewatched this year and I hate midget and feel like their relationship was bs and he was way too good for her and it was basically stockholm syndrome.

yeah i know. it fucking sucks.

Bringing me back to my point, if it's not to your taste, that's fine.

that's fair.

If you're looking for a good romcom, I'm currently watching Maison Ikkoku and loving it. Really funny and charming. Lots of silly misunderstandings, which can be a bit annoying, though.

>any opinion I dislike is b8
ok. mom was best girl. blue hair should have won. pink could have too but was a fag. best dude friend would have been a better option than midget. everyone else was shit. doujins are still good and midget is sexiest and thats unfortunate.

user, check again who was I @ing at...

school rumble is still king in romcoms
>ao haru ride
>romcom
full blown drama

when are the moralfags going to leave this site?

Toradora holds up, is still good.
I like Kagyua-sama a lot, but it's too early to conclude. So far, Kaguya-sama has no ending and many unfinished stories. If it doesn't get anything more, it'll be cut short and will lack the ending that gives it a satisfying conclusion. If it gets more seasons and it remains good and they wrap it up well, it'll be one of anime's all time romance greats.

Does School Rumble even count? From what I've seen and heard it seems more like a pure comedy with a romance gimmick, does it take the romance seriously in any way?

Way more serious than Kaguya for sure.

Kaguya is better in the com but not the rom

stop watching anime with the mind of a coomer then.

Kaguya isn't even funny and is certainly isn't even about Kaguya anymore.

Toradora is a heavy hitting emotional ride while Kaguya is a light hearted gag driven series. You really can't compare the two although I prefer Toradora.

What's with all the school rumble shilling lately? It's been sitting in my backlog for ages, must time to finally give it a watch.
