High school in general is so overrated but anime high school just go full delusional, absolutely nothing pictured in "slice-of-life romance-humor" exists in any schools, let alone Jap Schools where you're a high-wired working Lemmings
Your average high school teenager is just a guy/girl doing sports and shit, having some friends and going to parties on some week-ends, it's fun but you don't really miss a big thing if you do it later on.
