Redpill me on XRP. Why are people so sure it's going to boom again and what is the hype all about? Are the leaks of these supposed "insiders" true and why are they so important?
Considering how everyone on Zig Forums says their favourite crypto will boom at any moment and then never booms.

Whenever there is a conference or some hype about partnership everyone thinks it's going to moon but it's simply not going to happend, trust me on this one. This coin was to finance the real product which does not use XRP for liquiduity. Ripple is going to get rich, but XRP will not rise.

History repeats itself. Ripple is a legitimate company with many ties to financial institutions and services. It's been #3-4 with a 10 billion dollar marketcap for 5-6 years now. If this was a scam it would have dissolved a long time ago.

not a scam but product they sell to banks does not need XRP. Only a few partners use their XRP products.

So it's really better not invest in it?
It's going to stay sub 1€ at a steady pace like it has been for the last 2 years?

If history repeats itself then it means that Ripple will once again skyrocket and then downfall dramatically for a short period.

They are the most professional and most connected company in crypto. There is so much bullish news and breadcrumbs surrounding XRP and there is no doubt we'll test all time highs again. I can see it breaking 25¢ today or tomorrow at which point it'll pump a significant amount.

Yes and they require prefunded nostro/vostro accounts for transfers. It is the equivalent to a messaging system. XRP does not need money tied up for transfers.

There's a ton of great crypto options out there. Nothing will make you rich unless you put a decent amount of money in and/or hold long term. Even then, we may never see a great bull run ever again. Be realistic. XRP is a great investment, but not if you're trying to day trade 30 bucks into a retirement fund.

Nobody really can. It's all speculative until it's in your bank account. Nobody knew at $0.21 that BTC would hit $20k. The few who did are millionaires. The point is that the cryptosphere is a new asset class, and to not hold any is criminal to your future. How much to hold? That's your question to answer. Put in as much as you can afford, and be serious with your goals.
