Kojima is Oshii but good and not pretentious

Kojima innovated vydia and that's a fact. He also writes dumb anime James Bond shit and MGS 1 through 3 were carried by other people. Definetly overrated and DS proved it

Kojima might be a hack, but Anno and Miyazaki take their pretentiousness to a completely different level.

Out of the three there, Oshii is the best writer, Miyazaki is the best at visual directing and Anno is a close second in both those categories. Miyazaki is a horrible character writer
