They are going to skip it and go straight to Kino Ball Run.

>two cowboys
>head out into the wilderness to play with spinning with their fingers and playing with balls
gay ball run

Part 6 never.

holy based

I wish they did Stone Ocean and left it there, just so you Soft Boy Retards would seethe forever.

Jojo peaked at part 2, dunno why you fags kept reading past it

Shitposting aside, I actually want that too. They aren't gonna do it justice anyway.

They won't but that is true of a lot of manga adaptations. Also why the fuck do they both have lipstick and why are Johnny's nails painted?

It takes time to make it not look like shit.

Araki was still going through the gay phase when making SBR.

Part 5 killed Jojo so now they won't adapt the best two arcs after it

The gay shit worked better when everyone was some ludicrous buff muscle man. It was so over the top that it worked.

>fanmade anime screenshot
>uses the Part 5 anime artstyle instead of adapting the late Part 7 artstyle
this is gonna look like trash in 5 years

T-thanks Araki.

There's usually 2 years between the end of the last part and the start of the next. It was always going to be 2021 at the earliest. Hopeuflly the virus thing didn't push it away even further.

They'll never top part 7 manga

>Oishi and other prominent ex-Shaft people end up working on part 6
>by the time part 7's production starts though Shaft is ramping back up for a new golden age and most of those people go/have already gone back to Shaft
>part 6's anime adaptation is the best one

Not a big Part 6 hater, but there are a few things that make it underwhelming.

Pucci's plan makes little sense. And by that I mean the instructions that were given to him. It's just a random set of instructions that seemingly mean nothing aside from magically creating the Green Baby and merging it with his stand to achieve Heaven. The reader isn't rewarded by trying to understand what's happening. We can't predict or expect anything. It might have some deep meaning or be an obscure reference to something but it's not a mechanic like the Arrows, the Corpse parts, the Rokakaka, or even the Stone Mask and Red Stone where you can clearly follow what's happening. In those cases the story is enriched because you know and expect under certain circumstances something exciting will happen. I love Pucci, but while reading part 6 the whole process drew my attention, confused me, then left me without any actual answers.

The stand fights are generally more confusing. The best fights in Jojo have a simple format where a character uses their abilities in a smart but simple way to get out of a situation and win. More confusing and abstract stand fights tend to be tedious. Debt Collector and Marilyn Manson are great examples of fights with clear and understandable setups and solutions, but a lot of fights in part 6 aren't that good.

The main characters are also in that awkward transition between part 5 and 7. In part 5, there's a single group that stays and goes very well together. In part 7, it's every character for themselves. Part 6 gets the worst of both worlds - the group lacks unity and many characters feel like strangers with each other, everyone has a connection with Jolyne but not with each other because there are a lot of chunks in the story where some characters are absent. Weather Report and Anasui get introduced pretty late, Ermes gets a huge break in the middle of the part, Jotaro an even bigger one. But at the same time it's not like part 7 where characters being all over the place and doing their own thing gave them weight and agency (some parts with FF fighting Pucci alone and Ermes going after Sports Maxx works but most times characters are just missing).

Those are my three main problems, the ones that actually bring part 6 down in my opinion. I still prefer it over the first 3 parts, though.

aand to think that SBR is older than Brokeback Mountain

I think the big issue is that David Production likes to go to the country of the part they're working on for research. Unfortunately America has kinda infamously made itself a giant hot zone, especially Florida so...probably not likely.

Araki's really not that good at handling his casts. Even with the current part this is still a problem of his.

rare to see some legitimate criticism of part 6 that isnt just bait or someone shitting all over it.

I understand what you mean with Pucci's plan for Heaven. i do wish it was explained where the actual plan came from, and why it works. on the other hand though, i like that Jolyne is not particularly invested in what Pucci's plan is and is more concerned with getting Jotaro's disc back, and later on avenging WR's death. unlike a character like Giorno or Joseph, Jolyne does not necessarily see herself as a hero or acting for the greater good, but is just protecting the people that she cares about. and i think what 'Heaven' ends up being and Pucci's motivation for wanting to achieve are great and work really well w JJBA's overall theme of fate.

i do agree about the fights. and unfortunately i think SO's story fits the formula of 'fight minor villains one after another on the way to a final boss' the least out of any the other parts. it feels especially off coming after part 5, which imo blends the story into the formula perfectly(even more than Part 7 i would say).

additionally, in SO I feel like a lot of the minor villain's lack character, which is a major detriment considering stand abilities and personalities are meant to strongly inform one another. I think it starts off strong with Guess and Thunder McQueen, but does not reach those heights again until DIO's sons. and im not necessarily talking about the fights themselves, but moreso the characters personalities and how their stand abilities reflect them

If you removed all the women from part 8 it would be the best cast.
Too bad Araki is a misogynist and hates writing women.

6's MotW fights move the story along though. Compared to previous parts where most are just speedbumps on the journey.

the issue of the cast is p accurate as well. I;ve never seen someone make that comparison between 5 and 7 and apply it to 6 but it makes a lot of sense. I think issues like this are kind of inevitable with a series as experimental and commited to variety as JoJo is. you're gonna get stuff that just doesnt stick sometimes. it's kind of amazing how most of JoJo does stick imo, even w Araki's approach
