Glad you noticed what I was going for.
The font I used was called "アブスツラクト”. I ended up settling on that one partly because it matches the show's theme, but mostly because it's not immediately recognizable as japanese.

Nope. Hajime Ueda, artist for the FLCL manga. Probably more famous for his work on the Bakemonogatari series.
All I did was find one of his prints, scaled it then added FLCL to the front of it. Then printed it using Vistsprints.
I'm actually really disappointed, because I was looking for something official to purchase for the longest time, but he doesn't have a lot of FLCL posters for distribution.
