PERFECTION

Name a better anime. Protip: you can't, 90s Sailor Moon is PERFECT

If I liked Cardcaptor Sakura would I like this?

>Protip: you can't

It really is the best. It's not PERFECT, it had tons of flaws and could have don't plenty of things better, but there is nothing I could point to and say that it's better. No other anime manages to have both the scope of Sailor Moon and as many peaks of quality as high. Everything as 'epic' as it is much dryer, while anything approaching the same quality is much shorter and more limited in what it attempts.

Probably.
Though I've seen people who like CCS hate on Sailor Moon.

Honestly to me Sailor Moon IS anime. When I think of anime Sailor Moon is what comes to mind first, and that's not a bad place to be. It really is unmatched in a specific way. CCS for instance is a godtier show, yet I can't put it above Sailor Moon.

There's just something incredibly magical about Sailor Moon, for lack of a better term.

the anime came out 30 years ago. i think at this point you should just watch it and find out

Yeah has the same boring monster of the week formula, the same boring one-shot "fights" and the same over recycling transformation sequences to fill episodes.

The thing I would say it could be better is explaining the lore. We are just told that Moon somehow becomes immortal loses her powers and lead the world to a utopia in the future. No explanation as to when Mini Moon was born or whatever.

Not very difficult

Oh, look who's here again!
Hey there, residential shitposter.

Can a grown ass man watch this and find it enjoyable?

it depends if you are intelligent enough to appreciate soul

Yes.

>50% filler

It's one of the shows that stood the test of time for me. It's just as enjoyable now as it was when I watched it in the 90s. It even got better - as a teen I thought Usagi was too much of a ditz, now I understand her.

>the filler is the best part of the series

its called character development

At this point it's become obvious that you're only trolling. But at least you're not even pretending to be a fan anymore.

I really enjoy both so far, although only at episode 25 ish for Sailormoon.

Shows like this are pretty family oriented I'd say. This is something I can see myself watching with the family over dinner or something.

>watching with the family over dinner
I'd second the notion of watching it with your family, but please reconsider when you're doing it. Family mealtimes should serve as an opportunity to actually talk to each other and bond over that.

It's repetitive as fuck and extremely boring.

I'm rewatching the whole thing with an episode a day. It's been a really comfy ride. The outfits, the art, and aesthetic, chef's kiss! Would recommend.

Don't you have anything better to do with your time than to come here and shitpost?

>make actively aggressive thread about how Sailor Moon is perfect and the best thing ever
>stop shitposting by telling us you don't think it's good
Choose one.

It's the objective truth, though, schizo. Those filler lists don't lie.

It's only fault is that it is to long, it really didn't need 200 episodes. Also: S>s1>Sailor stars>R>Shit>Supers

All the 'filter lists' exclude episode 6, so they are inherently worthless.

Venus is best saiyan

these types of shows in the 90's weren't meant to tell a story, they were meant to keep kids entertained while parents are busy. Many of these shows have hundreds of episodes without any plot at all
