That and the people who made the show actually just liked the word "decadance" because it sounds like "dekai" and "dance." Dekai being Japanese for huge (funny how two anime air at the same time with the word "dekai" woven so heavily into their existence) and dance, which the director appreciates as an english word that he likens to how people carry on in life, that it's all a big dance. That is likely why the OP is called Theater of Life. But it clearly also relates to one of the statements this show is making, that living in unchecked decadence leads to hedonistic degeneracy and eventually ruin.
