The thing is that fights at the top level seem boring for most people because most people don't understand what is happening at such level, that is why most people think Floyd fights were boring, because he was so skilled that he made everyone look like amateurs and won in such a seemingly easy manner that it was boring to watch to the uninitiated eye.
Only people with actual knowledge and training can understand the intensity of such a level, that is why Ippo is so tense, because he is on of the few people in that building that actually understand what is happening in that ring.
