burn the witch has shown me that Kubo is legit a very talented artist. He's the closest to horikoshi in terms of artistic skill in current jump.
But I think think Horikoshi edges him out alittle bit. Horikoshi is a tiny bit better at drawing distinct/ different faces than Kubo. And I think Hori is TINY bit better at drawing a variety of different attacks than Kubo.
Hori > Kubo = Araki > Boichi = Takeshi Obata > Oda > the rest

I think the author realized what a shitty villain he was and gave him a powerup arc where he turns into a fucking god that disintegrates city blocks, has turbo regeneration, and the strength and speed to hold up against pro heroes even when his quirks are disabled.
So no, he's still as forced as ever.

I was starting to think I was the only one that thought shiggy was terrible from the start. Giving him more powers and a "tragic" background didn't make him interesting. He can be funny sometimes but overall he feels like a drag on the series which sort of applies to several main characters
