This series looks very interesting to me but I despise to invest myselt into something only to be dissapointed later. Do you recommend this series OP? How is it different from similar series like Baki and Kenran Omega?
in a lot of ways, it´s the author´s love letter to Baki, much like early Kengan Ashura was.
but it´s also its own thing when it comes to the excentric sense of humor and aesthetic, and its infectious admiration for capoeira/dancing/conveying emotion through movements.
the fights are also pretty cool, if you like hand-to-hand combat, you might not fall in love with it for other reasons, but also won´t regret checking out the action sequences.
Very well then. Ill go ahead and check it out. Thanks my lad and thanks for the chapter dump

Current body thread?
thanks for the dump.
I like that Batuque hasn´t lost that "esoteric" and "stylized" feel to its fights.
The comparison to Kengan Ashura is a valid one, since both drank a lot on the fountain of Itagaki´s overall narrative tricks and his "strong-people-are-all-kinda-crazy-in-the-head-but-also-great-friends" attitude towards storytelling.
Unfortunately, Kengan Omega is drifting away from that formula more and more as Sandrovich and Doraemon try to make a transition into "standard shonen territory", but once this "unconventional" charm is lost, what´s left is not very interesting.
