What makes you think that you could get that far before getting killed by villains? Between the ones that can survive a shot like Twice, current Toga or Overhaul, someone is bound to kill you before. Even the guy who gets you drunk when he drinks would impair your ability to shoot, even a joke like Gentleman could easily survive and take down someone with a gun.

It's like this series is incredibly inconsistent with what makes damage and what doesn't make damage.

Or Hawks, he could fly far away and even good shooters would have a hard time taking him down (since he wouldn't die with the first bullet and has been shown flying with extensive damage), and he can shoot his own natural bullets which he also can control at distance. Why are you assuming that everybody would just stand out getting shot without defending themselves and dying instantly?
