Hello everyone, today we will continue our journey through the land of Jump manga with actresses as female leads. Our hero today is Koisome Momiji, the story of a rural boy who accidentally meets a newbie actress and becomes her boyfriend for her to learn how to experience love, all while her co-star (and the boy's childhood crush) tries to go after his feelings too. Originally published as a one-shot in 2012, it would be picked up for serialization that same year. The story is written by Tsugirou Sakamoto, who apart from a Campione manga adaptation hasn't appeared to have done anything else. The manga is illustrated by Tadahiro Miura, who would go on to create a manga you may have heard of: Yuragi-sou no Yuuna-san. Similar to Cross Account, KM would end up being axed at 28 chapters, although it would receive three bonus epilogue chapters in its last volume, for a total of 31 chapters. Now let's read this series together and find out why it had such a short run, and how it may have influenced Yuuna-san and Miura's other works. The story: >A girl asks Katsuragi Shouta to take a picture of her with Enoshima in the background. Embarrassed by her cuteness, he takes the picture and runs away. He later finds out that she is an actress by the name of Shinomiya Sana. A TV drama, Koisome Momiji, will be shot in Shouta's town and Sana will be starring in one of the lead roles, as a passionate girl who whole-heartedly chases after the guy she loves. However, Sana has never experienced that kind of love. To practice for this role (and maybe truly fall in love) Sana asks Shouta to be her boyfriend!
