Baki. Itagaki is really accurate when it comes to historical figures. Just look at Musashi during Musashi Dou, his attitude, character and history is taken from and inspired from The Book of the 5 rings, Musashi's related buddhism records and his self-portrait.

Seems like a foolish debate but I mean if anyone were to be stronger it would be Yuichiro of course. The father being stronger would just make sense and Yujiro's hate for him could only come from two reasons either Yuichiro denied him a fight or he bested him I mean that or they're so close in strength you could barely tell the difference. The only real reasons you could debate against Yuichiro as the stronger one would be the fact Doppo broke his jaw and Rikigouzan bloodied his face but as stated by Doppo he takes punches cause he can you know for shits and giggles.
