Black Clover

So this pretty much confirms that commoners are in fact inferior, right?

What killed the hype?

Unless they get a Devil like Asta did

Makes sense since Noble families would be created from those with much more mana. Natural selection. Rades is a weird one since he has mana on par with Royals, but was exiled from the Kingdom, says quite a bit about Clover Kingdom.

That was never up for discussion, commoners are commoners because they have low magic potential.

Hmm, not sure how I feel about this.

Elf souls also targeted those with a lot of mana.

Did you sleepwalk through the whole manga user? This has been a thing since the first fucking chapter.

the anime is doing the whole training and the manga went to time skip. so we wait week after week did enough issues pass to start the fight? not this week and maybe not until october or november

Of course, at the end of the day, no matter how much Shonen loves to fellate hard work, their Japanese mindsets means that bloodlines trump everything.

That was confirmed a long time ago, user. Were you sleeping while reading this manga?

They targeted people that were their human versions 500 years in the future. Look at Charla and Charlotte.

Yeah, Black Clover is one of the few settings where the aristocracy is in fact objectively superior to commoners in every way instead of just being guys who are lucky their ancestors were in the right place at the right time like in the real world.

In general terms yes, the probability of a pleb having very high mana levels is low eventho possible (Rades, Jack)

We knew this from the get go tho

Anyone have that page of the Wizard King defending Asta and Yuno saying something to the effect of “they may be commoners but they’re strong because of hard work or merit”?

So I was watching the anime for this up until the point where zombies attacked the kingdom or some shit.
Does it get significantly better after that point?
I just really don't like the main character.
The yelling is annoying as hell, and even though you won't hear him shout in the manga I am completely uninterested in reading this series unless there is a significant increase in female fanservice.
Does Ashta stop being a main focus? His anti magic sword is boring and so are his character motivations and his personality.

Yes and also reinforces the fact that Yuno is the most naturally gifted motherfucker in existence.

>Loved by mana
>Spade prince
>Chosen by the wind spirit Sylph
>Blessed with a four leaf grimoire
>Elf-boosted mana without succumbing to reincarnation control
>Reincarnated version of the first wizard king and sister of the Elf leader

>Reincarnated version of the first wizard king and sister of the Elf leader
What?

Nice bait

It's not bait I genuinely stopped at that point.
Noelle is hot I guess but apart from her there hasn't been much of a reason to watch it so far.
I like his childhood friend dude at least but the MC Is unironically trash so far.

Zombie arc was the low point of anime quality with production issues, it gets better after that and really comes into full gear by ep 60~.

BC is trash

And here it thought "moeshitters" were just a meme

Read the manga.

>commoners are in fact inferior
Generally yes, but there are exception some exceptions like: Jack, Rades, Sol.
Also, despite everything, a commoner with low Mana can become really strong (Zora) and a Royal can be super weak (the "real" king of Clover kingdom).
I don't think anybody irl cared about Yuno being a commoner though

>the anime is doing the whole training and the manga went to time skip
This is called filler episodes. Is this your first anime ??

not in every way, in fact just in terms of magic power, nobles are often stupidly arrogant and have tons off other flaws

>I don't think anybody irl cared about Yuno being a commoner though
The backpedaling, just like when the Wizard King was revealed to be alive, after the All Might not dying complaining.

Wrong, they might just die at 5% of contamination or something.
Asta gets away with it because he's a no mana freak, so anti-magic has little effect on him to begin with.

>The backpedaling
It's not. I just said what I thought. There aren't many people who care about Yuno anyway.
>just like when the Wizard King was revealed to be alive, after the All Might not dying complaining
Those events were underwhelming, both in MHA mad BC. Julius at least had the mark on the forehead to justify his resurrection

Zora still has shit mana, though.
And the cuck king actually has good mana and a rare magic attribute. He's just as skilled as a mentally challenged toddler.

That's the point. The amount of mana isn't the only thing that defines a character strength.
