The problem with shot stories and one-shots is that non-guesslation versions are hard to find.

Yuri Hime do release a lot of decent anthologies so it's hard to avoid. Hopefully that post apocalypse one turns up at some point and more Parfait.
Beyond them Kirara are good at doing anthologies for most of their big series.

This is an unfortunate truth. My thoughts on the matter are so long as the raws aren't readily available, tell me a good story and I'll ignore all but the most grievous mistakes.

This one was pretty sweet. only 3 chapters though the author did write a few other short stories about slit mouth women romance. was a pretty interesting read desu.

I used to read a lot of oneshot at one point in time.

Even if you're not a fanatic reader of them, they're a nice break from long ongoing series every once in a while. My advice? Stockpile a few from this thread and read them whenever you need a refresh.

how do you find good short stories and one shots? i’ve like the ones in this thread and i want to try and get into reading them

Lots of manga reading sites have random buttons that you can hit a buncha times until you land on a good story. You can also usually sort a search by "Oneshot" or "Anthology", etc. If they're translated and posted on this site without being uploaded to other sites (which is rare), you can find them in the archive.
