There are too many things. Too many objects in my apartment even though I did the Konmari method. Too many files on my computer that I will never get to. Too many online accounts that I've forgotten or lost access to and a hundred more I have but can't justify closing. Too many stocks, ETFs, and coins to choose from. Too many people to deal with. Too many types of rodents to personally document. Far too many computer hardware options. Too many games and too many movies to see. Way too many books I want to read. Too many projects I want to build that will never see the light of day. Too many places I'd like to see. Too many coffee flavors I'd like to try. Too many god damn browser tabs and windows open on my computer at all times.
Zig Forums, how the fuck am I supposed to deal with all of this? I'm losing it. Should I hire a digital assistant or something?

Back to basics. Start from scratch. Imagine you have nothing but a small boat. What will you bring? Purge the rest, it is occupying too much of your time, thought and energy. It has blurred your focus.
>>inb4 leave the city and live in the countryside This would actually partially relieve the problem, though. The other thing to do is get off the computer and only use it now and then. Hyperstimulation is the default if you spend any time on online. Try getting into camping. Don't take any tech with you. Browse /out/ for a bit to get the basics. If you're in the US or Canada you're sorted for this - so much wilderness to enjoy and get your overstimulated brain in order.

Monitoring this thread. I have no less than 500 downloaded movies/shows I've never gotten to watching and 34 steam game icons on my desktop that I've never played, not to mention like 150 steam games in my library currently uninstalled.
It's not fun, it doesn't fill me with excitement at having all this cool shit I can throw myself into. It feels like being buried alive.
I don't think it's just digital stimulation either, I think if I walked into a library my head would explode on the spot. There are too many choices in everything, choice is a burden, I don't want it anymore. The net creative and productive output of 7 billion modern age humans is too much to be expected to sift through for quality content while still keeping my sanity.
I literally want to hire someone with identical tastes as me and let them sift through all the shit for me and they can recommend the cream of the crop for me to read/play/watch/eat/drive etc. Because I can't fucking deal with it myself anymore.

for literally everything in your life, ask these question:
>does it make you happy -> keep it >have you used it in the past 6 months -> keep it >will you need it in the next 6 months -> keep it >does it make you sad/anguished stressed -> remove it
sell or throw away everything else. give or sell the items to people that will answer the questions in the other direction.

Hi im 30 and I move every year on average. This forces me to live more or less with one suitcase full of stuff. 4 black polos, a formal shirt, a white polo, a jeans, two sets of shoes and a suit. Underwear, socks. A phone. Headphones. A laptop.
Thats about it from the top of my head. A Bicycle i buy and sell upon leaving. I rent furnished apartments. Spent most of my time outside (walking, beach, hiking, cycling, clubbing). I lift 5 times a week and work on small moneymaking projects in my free time. For me this really works.
I like libraries because there's no commitment. They're actually very comfy. If you get bored just put the book back and grab another. There's no obligation to finish.

>too many projects I want to build that will never see the light of day. Just pick two, max three.
Just stop consooming. Sell everything that isn’t essential and invest whatever money you get from it into Chainlink. Don’t buy anything but food (basic unprocessed groceries; meat, dairy, eggs). Delete every tv show and anime shit you have on your hard drive. No show is good and you are not missing anything by not watching it. Don’t think about movies. If you have time at the end of the week and want to relax, pick a random number, and watch that film from your movies folder. Don’t think about reading. There is no need to consooom. For mot of history, humans never consoomed anything. They didn’t own a single book, they never saw a tv show or movie, and never played a vidya. Cut the consooming out of your life and you will have Time to produce something instead.
