I'll never understand why people get so fixated with studios. They're just names, brands, they tell you nothing about the people who actually work there. If you want to know what the people who used to work at Gainax are doing, a few clicks will tell you. But the name Gainax itself is meaningless at this point, because it's a shell with nobody of note.
