Everything good about this genre are the great looking PNGs talented artists put lots of time and effort into, fan art and sometimes VA/music. Everything else about it is a waste of time better spent on better vidya barring rare exceptions like Grabble which offers a pretty unique autistic in depth turn based combat if you're into that but even there it's not worth putting up with the insane grind and nightmare tier interface
