2chan (futaba channel) isn't that popular now, unlike Zig Forums. It used to be popular in the 2000s though.
Anti-threads also used to be a thing on western websites though, but they died fast and now it'd be extremely cringe to see one. On the other hand you can see almost everything has dozens of anti-threads on nipland sites. It's like they're eternally 14-year-olds. Maybe their "polite" culture might make them suppress too much in their daily lives so they let out all that pent up anger on the internet or something like that.
