nice, your gks look great! i have the chouette set myself. i was a total frustrated dumbass assembling the base, but ended up happier with them than expected, considering how bandai quality can be pretty hit or miss.

Not sure if I should ask this here or in the /tg/ WIP thread but does anyone else ITT have any experience or know anything about painting garage kits? I've done some acrylic brush model painting, but I want to paint a buyfag-esque figure. A lot of stuff I've read and watched from the /tg/ WIP thread has more complex shading, and the figure I'm painting is way more flat and cartoonish.
Does anyone have any guides or resources for painting anime/manga style garage kits? Warhammer models don't have the right look.
when the US election is over, so January probably
floof finally getting a nice figure i hope

these two nips have youtube channels you can watch. They know English too so you can talk to them. First one has more subtitled videos than the second one.
Thank you! I still wish a company would pick up the old G-Port kits for PVC but I know it won't happen.
The base is hell. Though it's very neat looking. It gives me hope they might be more adventurous for and Eternal figures they'll do.
did these get a date or are you just teasing me?
Thanks a lot man, I'm watching some videos from the first guy's channel and this is exactly what I needed. My only worry now is getting the right type of paint. All the stuff he mentions seems like it's only sold in Japan, and paying EMS shipping rates for paint seems criminal. I'm sure there's similar pigments in the States though, I just have to look. Thanks again.
>get a response from guy selling thing i wanted on mfc
>He wants 40 usd for shipping a single item
>its way too much for shipping a single item and i had to step out of our deal.
I really really wanted that figure and am tempted to just go ahead go forward with the deal.
time to play moneyball with him user, he probably wants to sell it more than you want to buy it
also nothing should cost 40 dollars to ship in the US, unless hes shipping worldwide to wherever you are
>How to make fishnet tights for garage kits
Yes, I will subscribe to your channel.

you havn't heard about usps? shipping costs are only gonna go up even higher

usps is fucked atm
castoff pants looks shit
no need for SAL while Air Mail exist
but sal is cheaper and slightly longer then airmail
Is the figure's box larger than a USPS Large Flat Rate box (12 x 12 x 6 inches)?
If not, it should only be $20ish unless the figure is solid gold or the seller is a retard who doesn't know Flat Rate is a thing
And if it's a little larger, there's still a certain weight or box dimensions to meet before USPS's fuck-you rates kick in
it's just marginal difference in price usually
post shelves please
