thanks for the effort but you can't undo the damage you've done

Interesting to see that you've taken SnK off again.
Did it fuck up again?
Manga.
>Did it fuck up again?
No, I reread Initial D at work and it got me more this time, especially during the Purple Shadows onwards.
I didn't find the Initial D anime very impressive. Is the manga better?
Based Sailorchad
Never watched the anime. The manga has an art style change towards the end but the change is to make the characters look more mature since they have become better drivers and more adult. I don't know how padded out the anime is, or whether it skips over the opponents. The manga is well paced and feels like one continuous journey, unlike what the anime will make you think because they operated on a seasonal structure with several year long breaks in-between that ruin the consistency of the series.
I tried really hard to get into Dragon whaling for the art, but it really let me down. The dragons are pretty, but not all that impressive or threatening with how easily the characters take them down one after the other. I was hoping more for a fantasy Master and Commander (air)ship autism series with some gritty Man vs Nature struggle far from civilization. It ended up however being mostly just characters I found terribly dull and dragons I felt more bad for than anything.
Hard to go wrong with most of those picks. I'll get around to Tsugumomo some day, but I'm not sure whether to watch the Sailor Moon anime or read it. I prefer manga, but the animation I've seen from it looks pretty impressive.
It's a whaling manga not a battle manga
>but I'm not sure whether to watch the Sailor Moon anime or read it. I prefer manga
The anime is generally preferred by most people, for the simple reason that the manga feels rushed and doesn't take its time to flesh out most of the characters.
I'd say it is worth a read, but only after you're already familiar with the anime.
If you want something to read that feels more like the anime, adds to it in a meaningful way and is generally considered superior to the Sailor Moon manga, try "Codename wa Sailor V" (which is on my manga 3x3). It's a relatively quick read and a "prequel" that gives more insight in two of the best characters of the franchise (in my opinion at least).
what's that on the top right? i love mountain climbing manga
I love Beck's anime so I will finish the manga soon. I liked Akagi but I read it when I was an absolute newfag and didn't know a thing about Mahjong so I need to reread it. Kamigami no Itadaki is one of the best manga I've read in recent times and I'm glad you can find scanlations if you look hard enough. I haven't read Venice or Initial D.
I've only seen ZLS, Hunter, Sailor Moon and Plastic Little. I didn't like PL but other 3 are fun. Greed Island OVAs are my favorite out of these.
I've only read 4 of them and they're the most popular choices out of these. I'll let you guess what they are. My favorite is YKK.
Is the Natsume manga good? The art looks pretty clean.
>Greed Island OVAs are my favorite out of these.
That's kinda a rare opinion.
>the most popular choices out of these. I'll let you guess what they are.
HxH, OPM, Yotsuba, YKK?
null/null for all of these
Greed Island is the most delightful parts of the anime/manga and the ending was satisfying. It also focused more on Gon and Killua, the best characters of the series.
>HxH, OPM, Yotsuba, YKK?
Correct. I used to like One Punch Man but I haven't read it in two years.
>Greed Island is the most delightful parts of the anime/manga and the ending was satisfying.
You're not wrong, but most people would argue that it's a pretty harsh break in tone and atmosphere. And that the switch to digital hurt the animation of the GI OVAs. I agree on the latter argument.
>I used to like One Punch Man but I haven't read it in two years.
My own opinion on it has soured a bit lately, due to the retroactive rewrites, which took back some gutsy decisions, seemingly to accommodate the webcomic's new developments. So far, I do refuse to give up on it, because I really like some of the characters and immensely respect Murata's artwork.
I don't like Murata's artwork. His style doesn't appeal to me. It feels like it belongs on pixiv, not in a popular manga.
>I'm glad you can find scanlations if you look hard enough
Times are looking up when Taniguchi starts to appear online more. Hoping someone will scan Botchan and his earlier works.
Well, that's okay. I find its level of detail pretty impressive, especially in a serialized manga.
I liked the digital look since it's a much more lighthearted arc compared to Yorkshin. The darker palette worked better with the earlier arcs, I won't disagree on that.
It's not the level of detail, it's the style of detail. Murata has always felt very glossy.
二/二
I've had nausicaa sitting on my shelf for two years and I've only gotten like 50 pages in.

四/四
just started yotsuba, I really like it
二/二
mushishi and ping pang are really good to rewatch.
Was Keisuke vs the blue r34 given more focus in the manga? It was pretty much a highlight reel in the anime.
Yes, the Purple Shadow duels are both fantastic. Every duel gets a lot of focus in the manga except one or two against some losers.
Still didn't finished the manga 3x3, i'm fucking tired of reading Oyasumi Punpun, help.
Drop it. It's shit.
otto su nove
6/9 I appreciate the incluson of oremio in what would have otherwise have been a fairly boring and samey grid
then drop it. it's a hobby, not homework
8/9 - hyouka
I made a deal with one of my friends, so i feel bad droping it, but it's boring as fuck.
Purple Shadow gets focus in the anime too, but I'm talking about this.

I should give Drifting Dragons another chance.
I don't like nihilism but GLT is fine. Yotsuba, Meshi, Machi are good.
Love Dr. Slump, Phoenix and OP. Haven't finished Blues yet.
Great Matsumoto pick. I am catching up on Golden Kamuy at the moment and its one of my favorite currently running series.
Good taste, I don't know if oreimo is there ironically or not. Also only 1995 gits is good.
good taste and nice looking collage
I like some lupin episodes/movies and porco is fucking good. Otherwise too colorful and wacky for me, and I say this unironically.
