Zig Forums is the reason I don't watch anime.

every time I visit this board half the threads are about Boku no Hero Academia, the most-cookie cutter shounen that never delivers, I was actually tricked into watching it by its popularity, but after watching it for 50 episodes, I feel cheated, and Zig Forums should feel ashamed of giving this garbage any attention, nothing is more boring than cookie cutter show, that isn't particularly good or bad, but just meh.

Just watching anime is fun but discussing what you watched is like another layer of enjoyment and can help you see things in ways you might not have before. Even with all its problems Zig Forums is the best place to discuss anime. If Zig Forums didn't exist, I'd just be on some other site instead.

I actually find a lot of shit on here. Been lurking for 10+ years and every once in a while there's a 3x3 thread or something with something interesting I wouldn't have watched otherwise.

They're a lot better than those YouTubers often are.

I have at least 20 threads hidden at all times. Makes coming here tolerable.

Too much bother, every week I get banned by a janny for some random reason like saying something they deem to triggering a flame war or posting pic of something widely considered sfw, but they personally think it's nsfw ban me for three days. So, I just delete my cach and reset router, and I'm golden, but deleting cookies means that filters go down with it.

I will watch anime without Zig Forums. I just won't watch new anime that Zig Forums recommends.

I was watching anime before Zig Forums existed.

I would definitely still watch it, and I would still read manga also, but I’m sure I wouldn’t find nearly as much good lesser-known stuff. I also really enjoy discussing anime and manga here, so I’m sure I’d be less engaged without Zig Forums.

This is nice if you actually want to watch the stuff that airs. But I'm not going to watch something I otherwise wouldn't just because Zig Forums is talking about it.

Every once in a while there is a good series that you might not have checked out otherwise without seeing it mentioned in a thread. It doesn't always have to be currently airing stuff either. I've found multiple series and genres that I never would've checked out myself without first seeing them talked about here.
