So i stopped reading bleach after aizen got sealed away and decided to marathon the remaining chapters this past couple of days. Holy shit what happened to kubo during the last arc? It was full of so many asspulls(more so than usual)

What was worse was that Yhwach got a shitton of powerups throughout the arc yet jobbed to Ishida of all people. Did kubo just stop caring about the series or did it get axed?

The only one of those that bothered me was Yhawch being weak against Still silver. Like, how the fuck was he not aware of this substance that's literally produced by Quincies and was the only thing that had any chance to stop his bullshit powers? It's just really bad writing , I wonder if it was due to Kubo just being in such a bad state health wise or because he simply wrote himself into a corner with an omnipotent antogonist.

He might be able to brute force Valkarie and Poison if he went full hollow at the end of the fight,
But he has no realistic way to beat Hand or Bird-god unless he pulled some bullshit like the Yhwach inside his sword taking away their letter.

Doubtful, they all had pretty OP powers that could only be defeated by specific counters, like OP stated. Ichi may be a reitsu powerhouse but he doesn't have the skill or experience to handle the top quiencies, he only won against Yhawch because Aizen and Ishida were there to help him out.

What i hated most was that the arc had a lot of moments where it seem as if something exciting would happen only for kubo to forget about them or they ended up jobbing in a panel or two. Like pic related, he spends hours observing renji and the chapter ends as if he's about to kill him only for him to never attack renji and ends up jobbing to byakuya. Or when grimjow came back and got defeated in a few panels.
