It was fucking cool,only needed one more season to go deep with the mystery of master Shadi and that's it. I'm not sure if the formula could lasted more than that.

Yami was pretty much proto jigsaw. Honestly would have liked to have seen the series get a spinoff to just go a dark route. Sure it isn't as marketable as the cardgame, but it was actually entertaining. It's funny looking back to season 1 though at all the pot calling kettle black moments the series has with Yami after how fucking evil he was in season 0. Like Kaiba tearing a rare card in half or Pegasus stealing an old mans soul are like taking candy from children compared to how fucking evil yami was with his season 0 shadow games.
