This is the bi-weekly live TL of Mitsudomoe, done by the author of the Boku Yabai mangaka. It ran for 11 years, 19 volumes and 2 seasons.
Anyone is free to come and help either TL, clean, typeset or even just help with QC (checking for grammar/spelling errors).

Also 2 things,
Any info I can add/ remove from OP, it’ll be easier if I can just copy and paste it every week?
Big thanks to Sunfish who picked up the rest of 197 and uploaded to MD after some anons cleaned the page
Let’s keep the momentum going
Dump coming through
Can someone share all Mitsudomoe RAWs from AB? I believe they have both tankoubon and magazine scans.
Sunfish only has an incomplete collection of the magazine scans (only Volumes 14-19), and the tankoubon scans that are available on other sites might be missing some bonus pages.
I think AB's version might be more complete.
Many thanks to anyone who can share!
I thought we were only gonna do one chapter at a time?
I don't think someone ever got to share the AB raws in the previous threads.
They were going to, but there was a little misunderstanding and the upload got cancelled.
Wait did I miss a new chapter page
Answer, yes I did.
OP text looks good to me, I think we can reuse these for every thread.
Many thanks, user!
Is this what you are looking for:
sunfishscans.wordpress.com
No, we already have those.
Sunfish got his tankoubon scans from mirror sites (that all seem to host the same files), and his magazine scans from a now-inactive uploader.
I think AB's Mitsudomoe raws are more complete than sunfish's tankoubon scans, and their magazine scans are probably complete as well.
>I think AB's Mitsudomoe raws are more complete
What makes you think that? When it comes to raws there is usually only one set flying around. Also, file sizes look the same to me.
mods will probably complain about template threads and nuke them since they're dumb enough and vindictive enough to.
Regarding the tankoubons, I'm comparing the raws of each volume with each other.
For instance, the cover of Vol. 5 does not have the Comic Haiku that is present in other volumes.
Volumes 14-19 also don't have the Comic Haiku and a summary of the volume (with character data), unlike other volumes.
As for the magazine scans, we're missing Volumes 1-13 (not hosted on sunfish' site).
These have special magazine-exclusive pages that aren't included in the tankoubons if I'm not mistaken.
But we might as well grab magazine scans Vol. 1-19 if we're there already for a true comparison.
Until we can compare sunfish's raws with AB's, we can't say how fully complete our raws are.
I'll be happy to compare them and report back if someone can share them.
By the way, does AB only have 1 set of Mitsudomoe raws, or do they have several?
Shoot, really? Then feel free to vary stuff a bit, OP! Better safe than sorry.
What's on sites like jcafe?
Haven't checked yet, but jcafe24.net seems to down right now.
I'll try and check the raws there as well and report back on the next thread.
Unfortunately, my ISP is being extra terrible this week, so everything is super slow right now.
By the way, below are some scanlation tutorials that were shared in previous threads:
quicksandscans.wordpress.com
insidescanlation.com
We can try cleaning the chapter while we wait for a proper TL.
Just compare the file sizes. Unless the difference is significant, like at least >10mb there is virtually no chance that they aren't the same.
>By the way, does AB only have 1 set of Mitsudomoe raws, or do they have several?
Pretty sure AB only allows one set of raws for a given manga. If better raws pop up the old ones get removed. Not that that almost ever happens because as I stated before, 99% of the time there is only one set of public raws out there. And current case does not seem to fall into that one percent to me.
Feel free to vary the thread text, OP!
As per we should probably have more variety.
Sure, I'll compare the raws from jcafe24.net once I get them, with file size as the rule of thumb.
I'll do the same for the AB raws if someone links them.
>99% of the time there is only one set of public raws out there. And current case does not seem to fall into that one percent to me.
Yes, Mitsudomoe raws from other sites seem to be the same (sites that aren't exclusive, that is), but AB's raws are the only ones that I haven't gotten to check yet due to its exclusivity.
Once we compare them with something from other sites (like jcafe), we can stop double-checking the raws.
Thanks for the dump, OP!
If you ask me, it was broadcasting laws that ultimately did the show in.
Mitsudomoe had everything going for it -- they improved every scene from the manga; they had an all-star VA cast; the animation, character songs, bgm and OST were kino; they even went a bit overboard with the marketing (a giant Nipples costume, a Mitsudomoe-themed maid cafe, and even did radio show on Nico Nico Douga).
There must've been some anti-loli-lewding law that forced them to tone down the art style, because you just know Bridge would've gone all the way with this adaptation if they could.
I don't agree with Japanese fans boycotting the show which led to poor sales, but I kinda get where they were coming from.
If I got hyped for the anime while reading the manga, I'd be pretty upset too if things weren't completely true to the source material.
