Why does kusoben survive while Cross Account or Love Rush failed?
Date deserves better
What went wrong?

Because the premise is kind of stupid. MC is one who is in love with an idol and is so fanatic about her that he rejects his childhood friend. This is like saying that I don't want to date you because I'm waiting for Justin Biber to confess to me. Does not make sense.
I still don't know why it was last place so many times. It wasn't even bad.
But he was actually online friends with the idol.
I wish Jump wasn't so axe-happy about romcoms.
if the role reversed it's just generic shojo
It's worse than kusoben.
>MC is one who is in love with an idol and is so fanatic about her that he rejects his childhood friend
That's why, Shit series
>It's worse than kusoben.
How
I can think of two series where the idol was a childhood friend. In both series the idol loses.
It got axed.
Bokuben was axe bait around the time cross account was axed. Fumino saved it from the axe.
kusoben premise is somehow stronger and it debut first.
What if CA debuted first? Would CA have lived?
I miss Nanoka Satsuki.
nah
1. The Promised Neverland
2. My Hero Academia
3. Kimetsu no Yaiba
4. Shokugeki no Soma
5. Haikyu
6. We Never Learn
7. Hinomaru Zumou
8. Saiki Kusuo no Sainan
9. Robot x Laserbeam
10. Shudan!
11. Yuragi-sou no Yuuna-san
12. Spring Weapon No. 1
13. Gintama
14. Cross Account(first ranking)
15. Hungry Marie
Bokuben has Mafuyu
Maybe but Love Rush didn't tho the premise was retarded
>15. Hungry Marie
F
>Fumino saved it from the axe.
Does reddit actually belive this?
That's one harsh ranking. I don't know what could have caused it given that pic related didn't even happen until the following chapter.
I thought the consensus was that it was Mafuyu who saved Bokuben from the axe?
looking back I could see why it failed. Also Shudan was against Haikyuu (make money) and Hinomaru (Push) no wonder why it's dead :(
I wonder what people would have thought about CA had Mangaplus been around back then. How would have the threads been like?
Fuuka, and what else?
This was just a miscalculation. Like WSJ rejecting Isayama and Bleach rushed ending.
judging by the number of cp it got Jump push it. there's no way CA could compete.

>ripping off hamster
Oof
That looks bad. Wasn't hamster popular then?
>Bleach rushed ending
that's Kubo's health problem. he didn't want to go on break because he afraid he might not be able to come back to finish the story.
Shomin Sample.
Apparently CA actually had decent V1 sales despite the consistently low rankings. I wonder why.
>why
Pretty pictures
>kusoben
What's that?
Yes, rather popular. I don't know why the manga got so much hate because of that because the otaku part of idol-chan almost disappeared after that chapter.
It's unfortunate that we never got an upskirt of Nanoka. I'm sure we would have gotten one had the manga lasted longer, but alas.
>almost disappeared after that chapter
because of the backlash I guess
>why the manga got so much hate because of that
>Yes, rather popular
you just answered your own question.
So many ideas that Date appeared to have had to be flushed down the toilet due to the axe. I'm sure he had more plans for things like Nanoka's crossdressing and Mao's secret account but was unable to do more with them. I wonder if the Nips knew by the time Mao confessed that the end was near.
everyone probably saw it coming.
>Fumino saved it from the axe
>wasn't there
It did. Uruka was killing it and so was Rizu. When focusing on Fumino the ranking got better
>muh sensei
She was barely a factor in the first 50 chapters.
I wonder if by the crossdressing arc Date already knew the axe had been decided on or if the decision was made after that.
I mean, chapter 1 didn't have the Umaru thing and it already had such a bad ranking, so I don't know if it truly was Umaru that doomed it.
