Why are you still reading that shonentrash like One Piece when political melodramatic kinos with seinen undertones like Chainsaw Man exists? The convergence portrayed through Denji is unmatched by all shounen that lack Chainsaw Man's core competency. The poignant and nihilistic storytelling is something you won't find anywhere else, and the dialogue flows like a river. While the panelling not only is appreciated by the sagacious, it requires a keen eye to be fully discerned, not to mention its plot which despite its chaste premise, quickly transforms into a political thriller, which subverts the expectations of its initially seemingly diminutive scope. It may very well be the greatest manga ever made, yet here you are, reading shonen. Care to explain? I'll ask you again, why would you read normal formulaic shounen?

The absolute comedic gold of this chapter is amplified by how depressing the last... 2 months? Of chapters have been. Everything since they got back from hell has been sadness and death, and then we're throwing a cherry on top with the hamburger comedy sketch.

I'll be the contrarian but I think this manga could use a little more serious despair and a little less absurd comedy right now. This chapter is pretty funny but I also cannot help but feel a little cheated since I really wanted to see the logical continuation of 84. Subverting expectations is fine, but there should at least be a good reason for it.
