Its littered with confusingly-worded statements and references to statements that were never made, to my dismay.

I can't figure out what this is intended to mean.
does it simply refer to mina, literally yesterday? is it a botched attempt at the 'of yesteryear' idiom, highlighting she's an old version? I can't make it out.
It's awkward english that I suspect doesn't accurately express the meaning of the original words.

This is ambiguous as fuck, and neither obvious interpretation makes sense:
1. That mina is lacking features that the manual says she should have (doesn't seem likely, given context)
2. That mina stated she had features that the manual does not list (she hasn't claimed to have any features that wouldn't be very obviously part of her spec)
My best guess is that it's referring to her drawing the message on the omurice, but in order to get to that meaning from the text, you'd need to replace nearly every concept in that phrase with another slightly different one!

I'm grateful that it's being translated, but there's loads of this kind of stuff: very specific phrasing choices that just don't make sense without taking some pretty big liberties in "translating" this english into... english.
