I don't know why they didn't prepare english and french releases for TPGW. It had a sizable presence in the west, even beating some of the more established series, marketing it more towards the west and having the volumes available in those languages would've pushed it past the axeline.

Most series in WJ get PUSHed. Not getting one is a really bad sign, see Boner Collection (it's doom to failed). I would say even fucking Plagiarism got a little push by debuting in the issue KnY ended.

Stone could have been counted as a flop for ages, it sold jack shit until anime came, and even after that it aint selling amazingly. I'm happy that it was pushed into success, love it.

Since when has ''it could do well in west'' been a point? They don't care about western demographic since the most sizeable sales obviously come from Japan, and they dont want to keep something alive just because weeaboos like it. Also it was pretty bad outside of chapter 1 anyway.

I don't have any actual data but many nips I followed on twitter pick up series like CSM and UU judging from art they draw and share.

Nobody released data saying "thanks for the 17.6% increase in sales Kimetsu!" no. Many stores had queues for people just buying Kimetsu to speed things along but obviously if even 1% of those readers were buying something else then the industry grows. This is why everyone wins when there is a popular hit and console-warring over sales is fucking retarded
