Fuck off waifupleb

I don't even care if it's a girl or not fuckshit

Junketsu no Maria has some really accurate depictions of that time period, and also witches but hey, it is what it is. Pretty solid!

I watched that one, very solid kind of solid.

How about manga? there's one I actually forgot the name of, but it's about a Samurai that went to portugal or something searching for another samurai that stole his sword, and there's rifles

Manga stuff can be good too. I remember some really awful manga about some girl getting groped in a train then some girl in armor comes in and save her and there's basically no plot or the plot is so stupid that it doesn't even matter.

Make. It. Stop

YAMERO! We must secure the existence of books and a future for literate children!

I think OP means an actual medieval fantasy anime, not a Videogame-esque anime.
Like Gonden Age Berserk.

I wish someone would make an anime with good HEMA long sword fights

I watched the 3 berserk movies and it was fucking great but the new berserk is how it is so that's that for animated stuff. I tried reading the manga but I couldn't pique my interest like the movies did for some reason.

Hated this show
It pretends so much to be something intellectual when it's just so shallow

5 whole episodes dedicated to making book materials. What the fuck. Ever heard of damn wood planks. Always insisting she wanted to make books but never said anything on how to write one - aka literally the hardest part

It quickly fell into another wish fulfillment when something so simple as shampoo, embroidery, and basket weaving were presented as total ground breaking inventions. Seriously

There are explanations for these things. You have to read the LN's though.

No.
It was pretentious through and through.
I have no idea what S2 did but you are not going to convince me that it became something more grounded when goddamn embroidery and knitting is an envy of royalty.

I've never seen anything like this but I would like to.

Japanese cannot get Dragon Quest and samurai legends out of their heads.

You're clearly illiterate. Knitting has always been prohibitively expensive for anything other than yarn. The only reason this changed is because of the sock knitting machine invented in the 18th century.

As opposed to real gemstones?
Get out

They literally grow inside animals... Bunnies have gemstones the size of a child's fist.

And yarn, wool, and cotton grow out of sheep, goat, and trees.
Your point?

Knitting with yarn takes literally thousands of times less time than knitting with thread.

And polishing a gemstone is easier?

Yes. It's called a lapping plate/wheel. Gemcutting is trivial for anything other than comically small gems.

And he pulled out this comically small gem.

Lapidary apprenticeship lasts as much as 7-10 years
Please shut up

Dude... Have you seen jewelry and art from the middle ages? The bar was pretty low.

You can tell me whatever bullcrap you want
Something made out of wool and fiber can NEVER be a match to actual jewelry created through gemstones and precious metals

Now go eat a dick.

>And he pulled out this comically small gem.
Are you referring to this? Because there is a difference between rounding and faceting. Also this gem is not comically small, just small.

Just thinking about nobles going crazy about a gem because it's smaller than the normal small gems.

>Have you seen jewelry and art from the middle ages
Have you?
Myne is not even medieval but late Renaissance where Art Nouve was the hotshit of art and architecture

The 5 story wildcats have gems the size of your head. The real value of the gems to nobles is their nature rather than their size. The reason that isekai-bunny gemstones go for the price of an apple is because they're so common and have such little utility. Meanwhile the gemstone for flying mounts is worth several lifetimes of labor from a peasant.

>detailed, but very crude
You're proving my point.
