I watched the 3 berserk movies and it was fucking great but the new berserk is how it is so that's that for animated stuff. I tried reading the manga but I couldn't pique my interest like the movies did for some reason.

The 5 story wildcats have gems the size of your head. The real value of the gems to nobles is their nature rather than their size. The reason that isekai-bunny gemstones go for the price of an apple is because they're so common and have such little utility. Meanwhile the gemstone for flying mounts is worth several lifetimes of labor from a peasant.
