What was Aizen's bankai in your opinion?
BLEACH
A bluff.
Making everyone fall under the impression
The only thing that would be worth the hype is control of reality. But Gremmy and Yhwach also got versions of that so it would have been underwhelming by the end.
Complete hypnosis? And to stop it he switches into his useless Shikai with it’s release command. Did you even read Bleach?
his bankai is Zig Forums- anime & manga
>The only thing that would be worth the hype is control of reality.
But his Shikai doesn't control reality; his Bankai needs to be related to his Shikai.
The single best theory that I've seen on Zig Forums is that his Bankai is one that "shatters ones delusions about the world" and awakens them to "the true nature of their existence". Basically like tripping on DMT, its less effective on enemies than KS because its not as predictable. However, Aizen may have used it on himself to awaken his own potential and expose the truth about the Soul King, thus setting the events of the manga in motion.

>his Bankai needs to be related to his Shikai.
>Kenpachi's Shikai is being a fucking huge sword
>His Bankai is becoming Japanese Hulk
>Rose's Shikai is a whip, his Bankai is a magical orchestra
Soi Fon's Bankai has absolute diddly squat to do with her Shikai, so that's not true at all.
This is almost as gay as Jojo stand discussions.
>Kenpachi Shikai is externalized power
>His Bankai is internalized power
>Rose's Shikai lets him make shockwaves and vortexes with sound
>His Bankai uses auditory illusions to create a dancing troupe to attack his opponent
Stop speedreading
I like to think his Shikai was actually his Bankai and he lied about it to gain a psychological advantage
His real bankai is the friends he made along the way
Or the chair
No matter what Aizen's Bankai is, it won't be justifiable unless it's strictly a non-combat Bankai (or a very situational one like Shinji).
A neat idea could be that while his Shikai alters your perception, his Bankai can alter your soul under specific circumstances. You could use this to argue Aizen used Bankai a couple of times off-screen during a flashback to perform hollowfication before Hogyoku came into play.
His bankai is the imaginary Gin
>two-hit kill
>one-hit kill
???
Living rent free in your head
>sex toy
>giant sex toy
So his bankai redpills you? That's pretty based.
>one-hit kill
Name one character who died from Soifon's one-hit kill bankai.
I think the point was that its entirely unpredictable, it could completely scramble your brain or simply create a feeling of euphoria, depending on the strength of one's will. But it wouldn't entirely be unfitting for Kubo's Ubermensch to have such an ability, no?
No "person" was ever hit directly by her Bankai, considering it was used against a skeleton and a robot, respectively.
So what about
>Isshin
>Ichigo (true)
>Ukitake
Kubo doesn't care and neither should you.
>Isshin
Basically Fire Punch, needs to be at full stamina to use properly (stated during EBTR)
>Ichigo (true)
Already seen in the manga
>Ukitake
Kamikake, creates a new contract with Mimihagi (the source of his abilities), seen in the manga
>Eventually, he stopped thinking
>the virgin Cars
>the chad Aizen
>Shikai makes him an illusion to others
>Bankai makes everyone an illusion to him
>Attacks pass through him as if they're nothing, he dispels you like a mirage with a swing of his hand.
That's not at all what his Shikai does...
No bankai, he just used his shikai to make everybody think that he had one.
You're living in it.
>Shikai makes him an illusion to others
He can create illusions, but his power isn't limited to just that.
It's sensory manipulation.
