I would be. I've been playing nice staying out of Maison threads, and I'll continue in the future, but...fuck Maison Ikkoku. Seeing these threads pop up since the English Collector's Edition went on release is depressing. It's way too long (like all Rumiko bullshit), and not worth the investment at all.
I love jeans. I love her little outfits of sweaters and jeans or just straight up wearing panties with her MINIskirt tennis outfit...but I fucking hate Kyoko. I don't like Godai. The rest of the cast are just "the rest." They've got personality, but it's reaaaaaaaaaaaaalllllllly mild and unaltering. All of them, not just "the rest."
In fact, NOTHING about the manga ever changes. Ever. It's the same from start to finish. And what it is is completely stupid that begs you to relate with Godai while loving Kyoko for being naive. But I don't. And I don't. I'll open these threads when there's tons of images to quickly skim through and look for nice jeans pics, but seriously, fuck Maison Ikkoku.

The anime is top tier comfy. A long time does pass in it, yes, but not without reason. Also it's very funny so maybe you just don't like Rumiko's humor since you apparently have a hateboner for Rumiko's work?
