It's alright
I like the cycle concept and Hannah is pretty cute
The animation is bad though and the seven sins thing is pretty fucking dumb
All in all: 5/10

100% with this person, one thing that did dissapointed me was the ending and how it was different from the game but at the same time maybe that is for the better since this isnt like the game in many aspects history wise

it's shit

>Netflix
dropped

6/10 so far, just started episode 4

its a 6/10 at most, a generic fantasy show that doesn't really have that much to do with the game

It sucks and it's not Dragon's Dogma 2

Hannah was the best part of it.

It's a meme series that was taylor-made for reddit

Am I supposed to feel bad for the slut who got stabbed? Husband did what he should've done a long time ago

monster animation sucks, it reeks of trying to be like Berzerk, and their attempt at pulling a Goblin Slayer in episode 3 felt really trashy and forced--even moreso than it was in Goblin Slayer, which is saying something

>I-I've always loved you! That's why I went behind your back and fucked a bunch of other men!
That was weird.

That was really weird as in, they say like "I married him cause of his money now he doesn't have none so i don't care"

The MC's "Western revenge protagonist" character really bothers me. They designed him to be an edgelord but he's written like a meddlesome do-gooder with a plank of wood personality. I haven't finished it yet but the execution of the side-stories have all been pretty weak so far.

>all episodes at once
>roastiecuck shit
Dropped.

It was trying really hard to be edgy, same thing with the end of the Cyclops episode. Like, oh how awful, kids who are near starving stuffing their faces. Like, why even do a Seven Deadly Sins aesthetic? The original game had next to no Christian themes.

It being Netflix seems to be corporately mandated to be cucked.

That line gave me whiplash.

I liked it well enough. Good characters, decent action, most of the little stories were entertaining. Dragon fight was kinda underwhelming and contradicts yhe lore, but it's not TOO hard to headcanon fix it.

Episode 3 was terrible, though. And so much of the show was so sexual and gorey. Why? Does Netflix have blood-splattered titty quota to meet?

It's what normalfags love.

It's just way too short to be good.
also this crazy that 8 years later, there's still no rpg with a better gameplay..

its on nyaa retard

I liked that it showed how Arisens are capable of becoming dragons in different ways. To think that the Seneschal could just be like ''yeah we overdid this one, start over'', is pretty humorous to me.
However the 7 deadly sins have been done to death and this adaptation laid it on way too hard, on top of pulling silly twists and sillier dialogues when it came to people betraying each other. The envy episode was dumb, although I'm willing to forgive greed because the guy was bewitched.
Overall 5/10 if you know nothing about the games.
6/10 for potential lore implications.

I kinda agree, all other episodes where 4/10 except the last which was like good 7/10. Really enjoyed the idea of the dragon curse. Wish they did it a lot better.

I got hard when the bitch in episode 3 showed her tits

I don't get what was the point of this show..
This could have been a comfy fantasy monster hunting show with a cool MC who got his heart stolen by a mysterious dragon and became super strong etc etc (+cute pawn who becomes more and more human).
They could have told the lore and shown the world slowly... 12 episodes, MC goes to Gran Soren, fight monsters and at the end the MC defeats the evil cult in the Catacombs, learn more about the dragon and done, wait for season 2.
But like the game, there wont be a sequel.

Itsuno's working on an unannounced game now, and has said that he wanted to make DD2 before, so chances are good it's that.

It was too short, if it focused more on world building during this season and had a second season to capitalize on that with an arisen that doesn't fail it would have been fine, but with 7 episodes there was no point to develop too much.

That's not the point small brain

>and has said that he wanted to make DD2 before
He also said he wants to do Rival Schools 3, is that coming as well? No matter what Itsuno wants, it is Capcom who calls the shots.

They did let him do DMC5 though.
