>What the fuck is GANTZ? Gantz is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Hiroya Oku (of Gigant and Inuyashiki, his later works). Gantz tells the story of a teenager named Kei Kurono, among others, who die but find themselves brought back in perfectly healthy bodies and forced to participate in a "game" where they must hunt down and kill aliens. Those who die on missions are quickly replaced by others in following missions. >so what did i miss from the last volume Kaze started a fist fight against one of the Oni leaders who became a fucking Golem. Kaze obviously wins anyway. With this only the Oni Boss remains, and he jumps into the fray. The vampires fuck off, this mission is over and everyone is gonna probably die. This is because the boss is a fucking Thunder Devil who can flash-step and shoots lightning at will. At this point Gantz starts malfunctioning too much and everyone can now see this madness happening. The whole team attacks the boss. Kaze punches him and Sakata leaves him blind, and they all slowly but surely weaken the devil despite the impossible odds. Now it's time for a final strike, and Izumi and Kurono charge forward!
