It’s a great show. There are a bunch of pointless episodes but the main storylines get pretty epic and dramatic. The characters are lovable and there is good comedy. Every arc has tons of great moments, and the endings tend to be awesome.

It was great for its time but IMO it's aged horribly. I can't think of a single thing that Sailor Moon did well that hasn't been done much better by a more recent magical girl anime like Precure.
