The best character in the manga was Gouhin and I can't tell if I'm happy or sad with his inclusion amount.
And I'm gonna side with "happy" since she didn't really ruin him too much by keeping him a murderous psychiatrist with a heart of gold.

Going from simple animal school mystery type story dealing with their lives to autistic DBZ shit with cringe philosophy and an absolute shit villain that we're supposed to take seriously as a threat
I think that Paru got bored with her original cast, tried to replace them with Kyuu and more Melon, and then got pissed off when readers didn't like them. It'd explain why Chimeras suddenly evaporated but Kyuu just hung around longer and longer until she vanished into thin air at the climax, not to mention how many times Melon's backstory changed to give him excuses for being a psychopath.
Melon getting off practically consequence-free and grinning into the camera feels spiteful.

Or you know, like it is often done, the anime is made relatively close to the manga's ending with the idea of boosting interest while there is still time to make money out of it.

This, I don't know why the series left the school setting, abandoning 75% of the cast.
Good stuff but to many mistakes as it went on. Should have ended the original story and continued on but tried to hamfist it into the same story. She couldn't keep track of the various plots either. The story should have always been very simple in this manga. She needed better editors.
