Duelist Kingdom had a lot of asspulls, but which asspull was the worst of that season?

That part where Bakura was useful
Dark Magician becoming Dark Sage in response to Joey's attack.
>Joey
the anime doesn't really follow the rules of the game. honestly the worst part would probably be opponents not attacking the main cast during their turns. summoning high level monsters without sacrifices was pretty common too. though breaking the rules doesn't really ruin the anime for me
The whole game was pretty much asspull after asspull when Takahashi was writing the manga.
I always love it when cards make reference to various situations nearly impossible that the anime does
Since when could you fuse Mammoth Graveyard into anything?
I just worry they're gonna run out eventually. They put out a bunch of Winged Dragon of Ra support lately, to help match the bullshit tricks Marik pulled off in the anime.
Infinite plus one, but if i had to choose inside the entire franchise Arc-V with Making cards transform into half magic to make pendulums was the worst, i know we saw something similar in duel monsters, but fuck, it`s not just a card, it`s a new mechanic pulled out from the ass
This shit, So much bullshit had to be asspulled for any of this to make any sense whatsoever.
is there a card referencing the floatation ring? that's my favorite yugioh duel
This card game is a load of bollocks.
the episode where that pyro gets the dark floating castle
which for some reason prevents yugi from observing what monsters he controls resulting in his monsters getting btfo
so he pulls his trusty light swords and demolishes the castle ehich for sime reason kills all of his opponents monsters
lets be real the anime makes sense from visual aspect but it just doesn't follow the card rules because then the anime would suck balls
>implying your opponent has any spells or traps to begin with
There were no asspulls
Time wizard
Attack the Moon, by far.
That part was awesome But ridiculous. I still love when he pulls out magician of black chaos against Pegasus.
That one with blue eyes ultimate was absurd. Kuriboh was unstoppable too.
The asspulls in DK fucked the entire rules of the game but at least they were fun most of the time. Asspulls in later seasons are always "protagonist literally creates a new card that is perfectly suited to save his ass"
Yugioh the actual game would be much more fun if it worked like it did in the manga originally.
It kinda makes sense given Yugi owned the Time Magician in a first place, so in a way he planned to use it for good use before he gave it to joey.
Was the manga rules like Duelist Kingdom in the anime?
If we go by the game logic, wouldn't Yugi have to have the Dark Sage card to take advantage of this?
OPs is referencing Makos duel, yugi attacks the moon to make it low tide or some shit
>I'M PISSING ON THE MOON
Link? I used to run made-up god cards as a kid, curious to see their interpretation.
>"protagonist literally creates a new card that is perfectly suited to save his ass"
Can't forget magical top decking in 5Ds
That's not how it worked in DK. Those fusions appeared out of thin air like black skull dragon.
Zexal had Yuma literally draw cards and then transform them into an asspull card instead.
The "game" wasn't even a thing. Duelist kingdom was clearly supposed to be an old school RPG (it had tiles, terrains, special abilities and shit. even a labyrinth dungeon with a guardian boss fo fucks sake) and they phoned Duel Monsters in it because it would sell.
