I hope you guys are ready

Old fag here
I owned 16K eth from the presale I sold for $1.50 to try & make back my money from being scammed from Fibonacci miners & losing half of my net worth.
I used to own 10K Monero from when it was in the $1-2 range. There are dozens of other mistakes and pitfalls I could tell you that would only make you doubt me more.
I should have been rich twice over.
I made bank in the last bull market, not retirement money but I turned $3,500 into $200K.
If you aren't in you need to get in in such a way that you can hodl for 2 years. Quit dicking around with 20-30% gains. Bitcoin will be over $100K by end of 2021 & likely $250-$500k by 2025. Now is time to hold - not trade.

You sound like a smart lady. What are you currently hoarding?

This is precisely what they want you to think.

Lockdown 2.0 is coming. Companies will collapse and most will rely on crypto to survive for the more expensive winter months, spending it on fiat items.

BTC will drop again, probably September when the vaccinations occur and they require you to have them to work OR October when its made completely mandatory.

are you now in a position to make it this bull run?

Yes. 40% of my net worth is in crypto with the majority in Bitcoin.
Bitcoin, Tezos, Monero & Blockstack in that order. I'm not here to tell you what to buy tho - your shitty alts may out perform Bitcoin by 10X or get left in the dust. Just make sure you are 50% exposed to Bitcoin if $100K Bitcoin is life-changing money (it will likely be $500K as that's just golds market cap if global & Marxist trends continue)
Literally sit on your hands, go sit in the desert and come back in two years but STOP trading to fiat

You got me convinced bruh. Where you think we'll be at the end of this year?

If that amount of Bitcoin isn't life changing play alts. I made some small bets on ICOs that made money in the 2017 run as I didn't allocate huge % of my capital but I made three good trades with the $3,500 I started with.
The first was with a leveraged long on Bitcoin when I was 80% sure SEGWIT & UASF was happening before the market was fully aware. The second was seeing Monero significantly under priced compared to the rest of the market. After purchasing it was announced on Bithumb - I sold at a 50% markup compared to buds I knew in a chat who didn't want to go thru the trouble of Korean translate etc and sold on bitfinex. The last was Tezos because I knew from the lead dev it wouldn't be released and there were Bitmex contracts that were only good thru end of 2017 if it released - I was able to with margin 2X my stack with no risk (would have done significantly more if I hadn't been at work)
The only trade I've done this year was buying ZCash at .0041 & I just exchanged it for Monero as that was my goal all along.
Trade less, trade surer bets and be smarter than the retarded markets. Realize there is far less difference for you as a human between $0 & $1,000,000 than between $1,000,000 & $10,000,000.
I want all of you fuckers to be millionaires when Bitcoin hits gold's market cap

Hahahaha. $100k bitcoin. Puh-lease.

Just buy alts like XTZ or new oracle shit like DIA.

>subtle tezos shill
come ON, man. Stop being so delusional, you know what needs to be there instead. Yes, the DAO fork sucked, money skelly is a bit autistic and it hurts that he succeeded, but it is over. Done. Developers, and quite frankly everyone else, chose ethereum. Don't let your ego hurt you AGAIN and pick what's right

Short time frames I have no idea. When we go over the previous $14K peak you will see panic buying. If that goes over $20K - then shit will get real.
Kyle Bass who is a traditional investor and refuses to invest in crypto claims (and I tend to agree with him) that there will be a "step" function in which Bitcoin goes to 1-3 trillion overnight.
I would say if Joe Biden wins the election that's as likely to happen this year as next. 50% chance we range between $10-20K this year, 50% chance we go straight to $100K by Jan 1.

This is fine - have have no problem if Ethereum wins the smart contract wars. I am not here to shill Tezos but was directly asked. Foundation funding, more secure contracts with mathematical proofs & a built in mechanism for blockchain upgradability is a bet I made way back in 2017.
I find the "Ethereum killer" meme so tiring I cringe to even whisper it. Neo, EOS, Cardamom, Cosmos - I'm sure I'm missing half a dozen more.
I am NOT here to shill my coin - I'm going to $0 or $1mil with this side bet with or without you.
I'm here to tell you to fucking sit on your hands and quit trading for 18 months. Place your bets and walk away until it's life changing money

Yes, I completely agree with you. People miss the forest for the trees because they think these are just "assets" to be traded, not realizing it is the backbone of the new world. I mean, what will this be at once blockchains are 20-30 years old? What about 60-100? This is something completely new in human history, and so many people look at it like "stocks". Shamefur dispray

It's also entirely possible I'm sour on missing out on what would be 5mil+ from the presale and am trying to recreate it. That is what most people are doing.
I just know I bought back into Monero - but refuse to touch Ethereum as I've completely lost faith in their team.

I get that too. EF is quite cringe, but somehow they got other people completely unrelated to crypto to join them over the last 3 years and built dozens, if not hundreds, of new teams from the ground up.
The team back then isn't the same team that is there now, as there is no "team" as such. But yea. It is a very hard psychological pill to swallow, I did the same with... dare I say it?... Link. Still think it is a piece of shit, but I can't deny that fatman has done an amazing job business-wise with integrations. I won't buy it anyway because of a million reasons, so I understand you.

It's not stocks. The entire world is straining at the seams due to USD. 88% of world transactions are in USD & the system is strained along with record debt that can't be paid back along with 100tril+ in unfunded liabilities (social security, medicare, pensions etc) along with a wannabe Marxist revolution, along with likely Euro breakup in 10 years.
There is no way to reshuffle the global monetary system without Bitcoin going to $100K overnight - probably much more.
> But what's USD worth the...
Slap yourself across the face. I'm talking $500K in today's dollars. There is 50 trillion dollars worth of US real estate. Gold's market cap is 10 trillion. That doesn't even get into bonds.
Only a fraction of this has to enter Bitcoin for us to be at the numbers I'm talking about I'm today's value of USD regardless of whatever USD becomes worth

Should I turn my 20 eth into BTC?

> oldfag here with bad judgement
> Read my blog post goy
Didn't even read boomer seeth

Are they getting close to sharing & POS? I dig into it every six months and come up with 6-12 months before production ready every time.
With all the defi memes going around and most of the contracts being built on Eth we need scalability. And even though I own Tezos I am fine with an Eth boom because eventually it pumps the other smart contract coins

>I made all these mistakes so now I know what I'm talking about

is jebus right, should i all-in tendies?

Jesus idk eth is out performing right now. 10 Eth (half) is .4BTC so probably $80K in 5 years?
That's a tough call, if you had 100 I would tell you in no uncertain terms to. How much of your net worth is in crypto? Can you Uber/deliver pizzas or something for more $?

oldfag here too. i like reminiscing on the old days. got in shortly after the mtgox hack on the back of the 2013 bubble. got into btc originally because of silk road. i bought some btc near the bottom and kept buying more on the way up to the next peak of the bubble. hit a good play on NEO during the 2017 summer alt season. made a mistake holding link through sibos (oof). at least i got in on a biz presale pool though so i at least gained in $. moved into a few shitcoins and did ico's and blah blah blah after the peak of 2017 btc bubble. i cant even remember all the shitcoins i touched. oh and i bought eth after it got listed on coinbase with usd too, forgot about that one. i saw it when it first got listed around $10 and was like "wtf is this" because i had long since forgotten about the alt scene. then it mooned to $40 and i got in and road it to ~$300.

all in all made around 4 mil in crypto and now im just sitting in btc and a few other shitcoins waiting for it again. check out BAT. also in stocks of course

Those mistakes are why I turned $3500 into $200K in '17 & walked away with half of it in cash. They are also why I won't miss the next bull run & will make it when a lot of people don't.

Imagine wasting your time on shitcoins and not being 100% in LINK. Ngmi.

whoa 4 million. what do you do these days? are you still buying coins?

do NOT overlook stocks man. as long as central banks are printing money, stocks are repriced in dollars. its easy fucking money, just like crypto. all markets work the same way

>made 4 mil, still posting on biz

based

That's awesome - yeah brave is interested especially with the increased censorship along with everyone shitting the web up with adds.
Always happy to see oldfags who made it even if I didn't. Biggest mistake was getting bored after Eth was released, liquidating everything and working on my rental property. A bud I knew in Thailand twisted my arm to get involved about the time BTC hit $2K.

Well, POS is here, basically. There have been several testnets with mainnet configurations. I was part of one -- worked like a charm. The last testnet is about to start on Monday (which is more than likely one the main reasons behind this pump). If this one goes well, and there was an almost identical multi-client one (Altona) ~3 weeks back that went swimmingly, Proof-of-stake will be out ~November, which is phase 0. Nobody really knows when Phase 1 & 2 will come out, which are the ultimate scaling solutions, but Phase 0 is by far the hardest to implement from what I've been reading. The current estimate is Phase 1 will be Spring-Summer 2021, Phase 2 will be end of 2021/beginning of 2022.
Don't sleep on Layer-2 solutions which are out now already and will work with ETH 2.0 as well. I am not going to shill you their coin, I own 0 and plan to buy none, but try out loopring with ~$10 worth of ETH and see for yourself where they've gotten with dApps and L-2 solutions. It is honestly amazing and almost unbelievable. Same experience as centralized exchanges, it is crazy.

right now? literally nothing. not much going on with covid, cant really travel a or anything. most of my money is in the markets. i look at charts and dick around on telegram with friends and play games and shit during the day, and then do drugs and drink on the weekends with friends and stuff

I have 20 eth and about 5k in cash right now, I'm a poorfag. I'm thinking about this stuff the way a boomer would a 401k from a company that matches. I'm just trying to plan for the future, not get rich or anything.

I'm not messing with them now due to the corporate debt issue and not being familiar with the stock market. Did you see Kodak the other day after they announced they were getting a loan to make pharma ingredients in the states? 300% in a day
