They build a good premise in the first half of what's supposed to be a more developed and darker Zootopia just so they can blow it all up a shitstorm in the second half.

As said it's around a 6-8 manga and then it turns into a 0-3, you can add 1 or 2 extra points depending on how much of a furfag you are.

Humans obviously don't exist, so who the fuck bred dogs to be the way they are? Why introduce that plot in the first place if you aren't going to answer it? aaaaaaaaaaaah.

It starts grounded then quickly loses momentum the moment the author tries to expand the scope beyond the high school setting and it feels like she lacks direction, subplots are started then quickly abandoned, characters will act a way then another the next chapter, it lacks a cohesive structure to all tie it together and ends up feeling disjointed.

I know I'm not the only one who feels this way but I'll ask the stupid question anyway. Does anyone feel like Beastars was just too quick? I don't know how to describe it exactly, but it feels like it was going to have much, much more stuff going on and it all just ended in a really quick battle. The battle felt like a mid-manga battle, that would bring more problems and require more training, maybe Legosi starting to turn like his mom did, etc.

It stopped being slice of life about a socially introvert teenager growing up and became a battle centered whatever about a borderline retarded turbo autist.

Because women shouldn't write romance stories unless they're married otherwise it'll always, without any exception turn out horrible because horny women are even worse than men when it comes to putting their fantasies into paper.

Beastars start great because a lot of the firat half is focused on building up the world and women are great at that, they're overflowing with imagination and passion, everyone agrees that the first half of Beastars was great because of all the details Paru puts in her world only for it to be dragged down by Legosi(mc) and Whoru's(heroine) relationship, aside from the shit romance that steems from Paru desires to be impaled by a wolf's cock, everything else makes up for this.

The second half however, Paru goes full retard and starts focusing on a villain that is supposed to be a symbolic representation of what could happen if MC and Heroine don't take their relationship seriously and guess what? It turns into complete shit. Like the 1st part everything else not related to the villain and the mc&heroine actually works out but this time there's so much focus on the shit parts of manga that it keeps dragging the rest of the cast and the setting into the mud and it becomes unsalvageable by the end.

I think I just realized why this ending sucks. I read all of the recent shit not FEELING like it'd be the ending. Like, if there were more signs it was the finalboss/climax I would have been alright, but now it's just like "huh??"

At some point it just becomes a series of things happening with no direction. Nothing matters in this convoluted mess, tons of ideas are set up but nothing is paid off or even used after they're introduced, and then you have this shitty villain sucking the life force out of everything enjoyable. YES. FUCKING YES. There's so many loose ends to everything, so when I heard it was ending recently I was like: "Wait, what? How??? Nothing feels resolved? Where was this going?"

I think something happened to Paru, like I wasn't expecting all the shit she introduced will be carried into the next arc, but all the shit is gone now because she is ending the manga

Melon's arc is like 1/3 of the manga, that's fuckton of build-up and a pretty good hint at him being the final boss.
